Top 2 Tuesday!




I am finally getting to participate in Taylor's Top 2 Tuesday! I never get to my computer in time! This week is top 2 things you want to accomplish this year. I have WAY more than two, even though there are only a 3.5 months left in this year (that is crazy!), but I'll narrow it down to these:

1.Complete the Couch to 5K program!! I actually started this program LAST September-ish. About 3 weeks into it, I was shocked at how well it worked for me. I was NEVER a runner, and this was actually training me to be able to do something I never thought I could do. I was super excited! But then I found out I was pregnant, so of course I stopped. You know, because of the baby. Haha, yeah right! Any excuse to not work out, right? :)

2.
Find a new job! This is a lofty goal because I'm not so sure this will happen before the end of the year. But it won't be for lack of trying on my part. It's extra tough because I'm trying to get out of my current field of employment. I want to do something very different so that's adding an extra layer of difficulty. I'm determined to find a job that I love though!

ohhh, what do you want to do instead??
Um, I finally this week have decided to calm down on the workouts. I am still going to the gym, but I really dont push myself as much- for the baby's sake. I want to do yoga, but they say dont lie on your back after the 1st tremister and a lot of yoga things are on your back, so I have no idea what to do.

I so agree about how well the couch to five 5 works!! I can actually run now! I mean.. I cant run with Jenny, but I can run! :) and heck yes on the jobbidy! Keep at it, girlie! I started talking to one company in the fall of last year and they didn't relaly make a move to do anything til January. I didnt take that job.. as you know.. But just sayin. Patience pays off. :)

What is Couch to 5? Sounds interesting as I wish I was a runner but just can't get into it.

Good luck with the couch to 5k! I think it always helps/keeps one motivated when you train for something (hence the reason I signed up for a race!). And, good luck on the job hunt- I'm right there with ya :)

My sister just started the couch to 5k and I am really hoping it can help her get motivated. Would love to hear how it works for you.

ohhhh I love couch to 5k! I did it all the time and now I am training for the tulsa run! Good luck finding a new job!!!

Great picks! I ran my first 5k back in April...and now we're expecting or 2nd baby so my running has been put on hold. Good luck, you can do it. Your son is adorable. I'm looking forward to following your blog.

I am hoping to start Couch to 5K this week! It has rained every time I've had the chance to this week, but I'm determined tomorrow is the day. Good luck with it, and finding a new job! :)
