Yep, as of one week ago, our house is officially on the market! Yay! This is a time that we have been looking forward to for so long, and it's a little surreal that we are finally doing it. Over the past month, Lee and I have been busting our butts to get our house in perfect shape for selling. As you probably know, I'm so type A that the house had to be in "show mode" before I wanted to list it. And, I'm so happy to say that it is (at least it I think so :) )
Amongst other little things, we have: installed new kitchen cabinet doors, cleaned out the garage, did some looong overdue decorating (those damn built ins!), had the tub and bathroom sink re-glazed, power washed the house, built a step for the 2 foot drop out of our french doors, and decluttered, decluttered, decluttered!
We seriously worked every weekend and every single evening after work. We were SO exhausted, every day. I know that we did so much, but at the same time, I look around and think, Okay, what did we really do that took so long? Haha :) It's so weird to not have anything to do after work this week! It's so nice :)
Whew! Now we just have to keep it clean :)
So of course, after all of that hard work, I'm going to show you all what the house looks like now. I wish I had before pictures of the rooms to show you (um, and me) everything that we did.

It looks great!! Keeping a house clean with two dogs was bad enough for us, I can't imagine now with a baby too! Good luck, hope it goes fast!

Your house looks so great!!! I bet it sells in no time- it's move-in ready and you staged it really well! Good luck w/ the sale AND with the fun house hunt- that's exciting. I look at homes online all of the time even though we're not ready to move yet, ha!

Everything looks great!! What's funny is that we just put our house up for sale too! I did the same thing by getting the house "show ready" and now I'm not sure if I want to leave! Ha! Good luck!!

I dont know what it looked like before, but I think it looks fabulous now! I would come look at your house if I was looking for a house :) It must be nice to live in it while its all clean polished looking!
